Hub Innovazione Trentino (HIT)

Hub Innovazione Trentino (HIT) is an innovation ecosystem catalyst funded by the Autonomous Province of Trento (PAT). HIT shareholders include, besides the PAT, the major Trentino representatives from academy and research (University of Trento, Bruno Kessler Foundation and Edmund Mach Foundation) and the regional Development Agency (Trentino Sviluppo S.p.A.). HIT core competencies include: i) supporting the growth of Trentino’s research and innovation ecosystem by coordinating the participation of its shareholders to European, national and local strategic initiatives in the innovation; ii) connecting scientific excellence with industry and investors for new technology ventures and technology transfer activities; iii) accelerating the formation of a critical mass of high-quality, innovative start-ups.
